Build Photographic Memory

Process of Memory

  1. Registration - the process of getting data inside our brain

  2. Retention - the process of storing data inside our brain

  3. Recall - the process of recalling the right data at right time from our brain

4 Habits for developing a Photographic Memory

  1. Attention

  2. Comprehension

  3. Recall

  4. Application

Attention:

  1. Pay 100% attention while learning.

  2. If you dilute the quality of learning, you will dilute the quality of results.

  3. If you forget something, you did'nt even get it in the first place.

Comprehension:

  1. Learning should not be primary goal, Understanding the concept should be primary goal.

  2. First Understand, Then Learn.

  3. Try to rewrite the concept in your own words

  4. Association Technique: Associate new concepts with the old concepts which you already know.

  5. Checkpoint Technique: Try to recall and apply at regular intervals(checkpoints) between learning sessions.

Recall:

  1. To get good memory, we need to recall more.

  2. learn -> Test -> Test -> Test.

  3. Never end learning session without a recall session.

Application:

  1. With lifelong learning, we may get lifelong skills, but lifelong application will give us lifelong results.

  2. Knowledge without it's application is just collected information.

  3. It's not who you are underneath, it's what you do that defines you.
